In Phoenix, citizens are being educated as to how to protect themselves against their police department. There is much information in the article at the link below which might not only apply to the Arizona city, but to any American city.
It is not a bad idea to start training American youth -- who are at risk for dangerous encounters with cops -- the basics of protecting themselves as best they can without placing themselves in danger of cop-assault or a non-violent but clear violation of their civil rights.
Important to understand is that it doesn't matter whether you have committed a crime or not. There is a justice which you may have to face, but cops acting in a criminal fashion against you is not part of that justice. This is America and no cop has the authority to deny of you your civil rights. Your citizen ancestors fought and died for those rights for your protection and cops have no place acting out "above the law" or as personal judge and jury.
Feel free to share with our readers any story you may have of how you attempted to protect yourself or your children from cops.
As Americans, we cannot afford to lose our civil rights by taking a chance that an encounter with a cop with be one of those rare circumstances where the cop is actually acting appropriately. The risk to our children is simply much too high.
